RUM Building Stones and Sand Trading LLC is a leading manufacturer and supplier of building materials. The company specializes in supplying the construction and infrastructure projects with high quality building materials including stones and sand, and now it is working with large governmental and individual projects.
RUM Company was established in 2010, with a capital of 100,000 dirhams and only 3 employees. Currently, its capital is estimated at 20 million dirhams and employs more than 100 employees. Thanks to its wise management and its relentless pursuit of services development and expansion, Rum became one of the most important suppliers of building materials to the construction sector, and the most dynamic and innovative in the UAE and GCC countries.
Rum is located in the center of the most important brands in the UAE market, and this accomplishment goes to the expertise of our management and the infinite efforts of our teamwork who always provide distinguished services and continuous support for all the construction projects in the country.

Natural resources are the main source of raw materials for future projects. Aggregate, stone, and sand are important elements in the success of all construction and urban projects, and it is the basis for building future roads that connect us with others. We at RUM take sustainability into consideration when dealing with our natural resources and work to preserve them.
Protecting the environment is our main concern, so we always strive to maintain our eco-friendly operations while supplying demand.
We follow standard procedures that contribute to reducing environmental pollution and allow us to carry out transportation and supply operations smoothly from crushers to construction sites of our customers. The team conduct a periodic inspection of all vehicles, trucks and machinery used in the production of gravel, sand and building materials and their transportation to ensure their safety and reduce the environmental pollution resulting from them. All our drivers are experts and qualified to work under all conditions, and security and safety courses are held for them constantly.
OUR GOAL
We are always striving for expansion and prosperity, and we have studied future plans aimed at expanding our work area in the UAE in order to establish new managerial and administrative branches in all the cities of the country.
We are working on owning a fleet of trucks consisting of 100 trucks and enhancing our human capacities by increasing our workforce to reach 1000 employees.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Dr. Nael Al Nemer (Managing Director)
Dr. Nael used to work as a Financial Manager at Al Mizhar Transport Company W.L.L. for 10 years before joining RUM Building Stones and Sand Trading LLC. Dr. Nael was able to achieve many goals during his career at RUM by making use of his leadership experiences, strategic planning, and clear vision. He successfully led many projects with difficult challenges and achieved customer satisfaction.
Dr. Nael added a unique combination of management skills to the team. He is characterized by his firmness, flexibility and confidence in himself and his employees, while being modest, respectful, with his team. Dr. Nael has been the Managing Director in Rum since 2010, and he holds a PHD in Peace from Germany.
Mr. Mohammad Jamil Hammoudeh (General Manager)
Prior to establishing RUM, Mr. Mohammed had a long career in the banking sector where he held various positions in Jordan and the UAE and served as Corporate Sector Manager in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah as his last position.
During his 24 years of career in the banking sector, Mr. Mohammad has achieved tremendous success that has had a huge impact on the company. During which he led many initiatives and established new divisions in the bank and managed them with his vast experience, vision, and passion for innovation.
Mr. Mohammad worked on adapting flexible leadership systems and methods that enable RUM to adjust to developments and changes in the business world.
Mr. Mohammad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance and Banking from Yarmouk University in Jordan since 1989, and began his role as a general manager at Rum in 2015.
